Duke was my childhood dog growing up. No offence to any other dog lover, but he was the absolute best dog that ever walked the planet! This was an early work and I thought I was painting some sort of alien when one day, I realized this was an abstract rendering of my dog (who died while I was in Brazil, so I didn’t get to say a proper good-bye) In an abstract way, this painting captures Duke’s spirit and energy!
