Oil on canvas, 36″ by 36″
One of my all time favorite pieces this painting has incredible depth and complex lines of perspective that crisscross and tell a fascinating story which is sensual, a little dark, yet teeming with life and hope. The little owl has two poses, one with her wing up and pointing the ogre’s attention to the gypsy woman at the right edge, the other with her wing down as she enjoys watching the ogre roar every time she says “… and she thought she was a gypsy, when really she was the queen of hearts!”
